Feldman was hired by CSN Bay Area to anchor/report on San Francisco 49ers programming as well as the network’s regular studio show SportsNet Central, which includes pre- and post-game shows for Major League Baseball, NBA basketball, and NHL hockey broadcasts. Feldman spent 12 years as the sports director and anchor for WTTG-TV FOX 5 in Washington, D.C. before joining CSN Bay Area. He began his career as a sports anchor and reporter for WTTG in August 2000 and has served as its sports director since January 2001, while also announcing college basketball games for the Mid-Atlantic Sports Network. Feldman won five local Emmy Awards during his time at WTTG, including three for Best Sports Anchor.
Feldman began his broadcasting career in 1987 at San Francisco’s KCBS 740 radio station. Beginning in 1988, he worked at KTIV in Sioux City, Iowa, before moving on to KMST (now KION) in Monterey, California, and finally to the Orange County Newschannel in Santa Ana, California. Feldman was hired by ESPN in 1996 and stayed for four years. He was the primary host of College Hoops 2Night on ESPN2, as well as the host of SportsCenter and ESPNews, as well as college basketball play-by-play duties. Feldman worked as an assistant basketball coach at Stanford University before moving into broadcasting.
