Dan was a member of the WNYW team that won a New York Emmy in 2018 for a special report on Autism. Dan was nominated for a New York Emmy Award for General Assignment Reporting in 2015. He was also instrumental in the launch of three other Emmy-nominated series at the station, including “The Big Idea,” “FOX Docs,” and “FOX 5 Films.”

Dan previously worked at WRAL-TV in Raleigh, NC, where he won two regional Emmy Awards before joining FOX 5 in New York City. He has also worked for WINK-TV in Fort Myers, Florida, and KEPR-TV in the Tri-Cities, Washington. He has also served as Master of Ceremonies for a number of events, including the famed Apollo Theatre in Harlem and the Black Culinary Association’s annual Cultural Awareness Salute Gala. Dan has volunteered at schools and other organizations in the community.
