She gained international recognition in April 2011 after putting a video of Barack Obama declaring US Army Private Chelsea Manning (then known as Bradley) “broke the law” on the internet. Manning supporters accused Obama of compromising Manning’s chances for a fair trial. Marinucci was punished by the White House, which took away her privileges.
