He voiced Patti, the owner of Patti’s Diner in Smalton in the American animated comedy adventure television series Big City Greens.Bill Green and his two children Cricket and Tilly go in with his mother Alice Green (Gramma), who lives on a small farm in the center of a city known as “Big City” after losing his farm in the remote town of Smalton.

In the second season, Jake and Dylan form a relationship and almost move to New York together. Victoria Hill, the new station manager, takes over the show to boost ratings, and a new weather lady, Joni, is introduced. The show concludes with Frank getting married to Gavin’s mother as a publicity stunt, Jake and Dylan parting ways, and Gavin and Penny beginning a romantic relationship.

Dillman spent time in Chicago creating some of her favorite characters in the local theater scene, including stints at the Factory Theatre and the Organic Theatre. She subsequently relocated to Los Angeles in 1998 and appeared in television commercials before being cast as a regular on the variety show The Wayne Brady Show.
Other appearances followed, including Sister Brenda Trogman, a weather-casting nun on NBC’s Good Morning, Miami, a blind date for Michael Scott on NBC’s The Office episode “Chair Model” from season 4, and a recurrent part on HBO’s Six Feet Under. Dillman has appeared in several feature films, including National Lampoon’s Barely Legal, Larceny, Pot of Gold, and Superbad.
Following the conclusion of the sketch comedy TV series Blue Collar TV, in which she was a regular cast member, Dillman reconnected with Blue Collar comedian Larry the Cable Guy in his film Larry the Cable Guy:Health Inspector.She also played ‘Honey Garrett’ in Episode 7 “A Bear and Honey” of the YouTube comedy-mystery web series ‘Where the Bears Are’ on August 23, 2012.
She also has a recurrent role in the Disney XD sitcom Kickin’ It as Joan Malone, the strip mall security guard, and she played Tink Babbitt on ABC’s The Middle from 2009 and 2018. Dillman also appeared in Good Luck Charlie as Karen, Amy Duncan’s boss and antagonist. In addition, she played Karen Cushman in the TBS comedy Wrecked for three seasons.
