He is a member of The Tenderloins, a comedy troupe that also includes Sal Vulcano, James Murray, and, previously, Joe Gatto. Brian met his troupe members during his freshman year of high school. They discovered that they shared a passion for drama and decided to form a group to hone their skills. They wanted to give the group a silly name that made people uncomfortable. They settled on the name Tenderloins for the group. After graduation, the four high school friends drifted apart, each deciding to pursue their own interests. Brian attended Brooklyn College before joining the New York Fire Department as a firefighter. He spent seven years with Ladder Company 86/Engine 166. He still returns on occasion to see his FDNY colleagues.

Impractical Jokers premiered on TruTV on December 15, 2011. Quinn and the other members of The Tenderloins appeared in Jameela Jamil’s The Misery Index, which is based on Andy Breckman’s card game “Shit Happens.”  On February 21, 2020, Impractical Jokers: The Movie was released. Quinn appeared in the first episode of the second season of 12 Monkeys, which premiered in the United States on April 18, 2016. Quinn also appeared in the fourth episode of Star Trek: Picard’s second season, which premiered in the United States on March 25, 2022.

Quinn also co-hosts the podcast Tell ‘Em Steve-Dave! alongside Bryan Johnson and Walt Flanagan. Quinn joined the podcast in February 2010 as an off-mic audio engineer, then as an occasional commentator and, eventually, co-host. In April 2012, the group began hosting a podcast.
