He progressed from general office production assistant to set production assistant/Andy Richter stand-in. Morin made his network television debut as a co-star in Bill Lawrence’s NBC series Undateable, a multi-camera sitcom with a live audience based on Ellen Rakieten and Anne Coyle’s book Undateable: 311 Things Guys Do That Guarantee They Won’t Be Dating Or Having Sex.

Morin played Justin Kearney, the proprietor of Black Eyes Bar and Danny’s hopeless romantic roommate. Undateable was unique in that it included a cast of stand-up comedians who were close friends before the show premiered. The performance frequently features improv, with Morin portraying Felix to D’Elia’s grumpy Oscar, a la The Odd Couple.

He appeared as Matt, Emmy’s boyfriend who is a struggling musician in Los Angeles, constantly being shadowed by Don in the American comedy television series Merry Happy Whatever. Merry and Happy Whatever happens in the Quinn household during the week leading up to Christmas. The story follows Don Quinn as he deals with the various stressors of the holidays. They become even more problematic when Emmy, the family’s youngest member, returns home from California with her lover Matt. The couple wants Don’s consent to marry. The family’s dominating patriarch is upset because Matt is a poor musician.
