Bob Eubanks attended Pierce College. During this time, he pursued a career as a disc jockey in California, where he was extremely successful. He got his first radio job at Oxnard, California’s KACY Radio. He was hired by KRLA in Pasadena to host the overnight show and worked his way up to host the long-running 6-9 p.m. evening slot.
He organized concerts for The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, among others. He worked with artists such as Barry Manilow, The Supremes, Dolly Parton, Bob Dylan, Elton John, and Merle Haggard after relocating to Los Angeles. In addition to ‘The Newlywed Game,’ Eubanks has hosted ‘Rhyme and Reason’ (1975-76), ‘Card Sharks (1979-88), ‘Dream House’ (1984), ‘The Diamond Head Game’ (1975), and ‘Trivia Trap’ (1976). (1984-85).
His final network game show was ‘Family Secrets,’ which aired in 1993. Later in his career, he was featured as the host or co-host of all five NBC ‘Most Outrageous Game Show Moments’ specials. When he wasn’t hosting game shows, Eubanks worked as a manager for some of the most famous musicians of the time, including Dolly Parton, Barbara Mandrell, and Marty Robbins. For nearly a decade, he also had an exclusive live-performance deal with Merle Haggard, which allowed him to organize over 100 dates per year with the country singer. Eubanks amassed his acting resume by primarily playing TV hosts and announcers. He made his acting debut in ‘The Cinnamon Cinder Show’ in 1963.
