The professional golfer began her career when her father persuaded her and her brother Tyler to join a junior golf school in the nearby city of Mesa. After she fell in love with the sport and practiced daily. She was chosen to play for the American junior Golf Association when she was only 13 years old. Among many other accolades, she was selected to represent her country at the junior Ryder cup held in Valderrama, Spain. After gaining status on the LPGA Futures Tour; the reason for this untimely break was a broken foot.
