Benji Gregory is an American former actor. He is best known for playing the role of Brian Tanner on the sitcom ALF. His first acting job was in an episode of Fantasy Island (1977) and he followed that with guest-starring parts on The A-Team (1983), T.J. Hooker (1982), Amazing Stories (1985) and The Twilight Zone (1985).

In addition to his role on ALF, he appeared in other television episodes, including Fantastic Max (1988-1990), Pound Puppies (1986-1987), Murphy Brown (1988), Fantasy Island (1978), The A-Team (1984), T.J. Hooker (1984), Amazing Stories (1985), The Twilight Zone (1985), and Mr. Boogedy (1986). He also appeared in the feature film Jumpin’ Jack Flash (1986). Gregory played himself in the PSA television series The More You Know, the children’s game show series I’m Telling!, the “Salute to the 50 States episodes” of the game show Fun House, and a kids episode of The Dating Game.
Gregory appeared in the television series Punky Brewster multiple times, playing an orphan named “Dash,” and voiced Edgar the Mole in the animated film Once Upon a Forest (1993). He was supposed to co-star in a Punky Brewster spin-off titled Fenster Hall. The pilot/television movie for Fenster Hall was never picked up for regular production. Gregory joined the United States Navy in 2003 and completed school to become an aerographer’s mate. During his navy career, Benji served on the USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70). In 2005, he was granted an honorable medical discharge from the Navy. He married in 2006, following his military duty.
