Asad relocated to Scotland to serve as a BBC Scotland Correspondent and presenter on BBC Reporting Scotland. He was one of three BBC Newsnight Scotland launch presenters, and he’s also appeared on BBC Breakfast and the BBC News Channel, where he hosted and reported. The Prince of Wales has appointed Ahmad as a Mosaic charity ambassador. He also represents the Prince of Wales’ British Asian Trust as an ambassador.
Ahmad has joined a working committee in the capital looking at homelessness. As a presenter on the BBC Asian Network, he has made radio appearances. He has also hosted the BBC Radio Scotland Newsdrive show and has been nominated for multiple awards for his BBC Radio special reports.
