Annie Ilonzeh is a Nigerian-American actress. She made her television debut in an episode of CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother in 2007. She starred as Maya Ward on the ABC daytime serial opera General Hospital from 2010 to 2011, and later as Kate Prince in the short-lived ABC version of Charlie’s Angels.

She appeared in the films He’s Just Not That Into You, Miss March, and Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief in supporting roles. Ilonzeh appeared in three episodes of Entourage in 2010 and had a recurring role in the CW prime-time serial drama Melrose Place from 2009 to 2010. She portrayed Maya Ward in the ABC daytime serial series General Hospital from 2010 to 2011. Ilonzeh was announced as one of the “Angels” in the remake of the 1970s television series Charlie’s Angels in January 2011. Ilonzeh was cast as a recurring character on The CW’s Arrow in March 2012.
She debuted as a recurrent character in the ABC Family drama series Switched at Birth. In 2013, she starred in the Lifetime television film Killer Reality. Ilonzeh also appeared as a guest star in the second season of The CW’s Beauty and the Beast and as a recurring character on Lifetime’s comedy-drama Drop Dead Diva in 2013. Later in her career, she had recurring appearances in Person of Interest and Empire. Ilonzeh made her feature film debut in 2017 as Kidada Jones in the biographical movie All Eyez on Me, based on the life of hip-hop singer Tupac Shakur.’Til Death Do Us Part was her role in the psychological thriller. Ilonzeh featured in the action thriller Peppermint in 2018 and was cast as the lead in the ABC drama pilot Staties.
Ilonzeh starts playing Emily Foster in Dick Wolf’s Chicago franchise in 2018, after initially appearing in Chicago Fire. On April 16, 2020, it was announced that NBC/Wolf Entertainment officials notified Ilonzeh that her contract will not be renewed, resulting in her departure from the series after only two seasons.
