The series also received two Regional Edward R. Murrow Awards, two Emmy Awards, the Toni House Journalism Award from the American Judicature Society, and the Wade H. McCree Jr. Award for Justice Advancement.

During her time at ABC12, Angie has received ten Emmys and numerous Associated Press and MAB honors, including an Emmy and a Regional Murrow award for her investigation into the child abuse death of Dominick Calhoun, who was four years old at the time.

Angie was awarded the National Association of Broadcasters Service to Community Award in 2019 for co-founding the Flint Diaper Bank, which provides over 1 million diapers to the community each year. For her community contribution, she was also inducted into the Genesee Regional Women’s Hall of Fame.
