She performed in the music videos for Wish You Were Mine by Phillip George and Stranger To Love by Charles Perry. She auditioned for the role of Connie in the television series The Walking Dead. According to showrunner Angela Kang, they were “so compelled by Angel,” that she was cast as Connie’s sister, Kelly. Kang also told Insider that, with Theory’s permission, her growing hearing loss, including the word of encouragement from her mother, has been integrated into the plot of The Walking Dead. Theory has also been training the cast of The Walking Dead in American Sign Language (ASL). Theory also serves as an executive producer and stars as Olivia, a hard-of-hearing/deaf teacher, in the sitcom Kinderfanger. Theory was able to advise the show’s creators on realistic representation of Hard of Hearing or Deaf individuals in her role as co-executive producer.
