The Soluna pilot opened many doors for Olivo, including the opportunity to return to her roots in the theater as the lead female in the new musical Hotel C’est L’Amour, which she performed at The Blank Theatre in Los Angeles. Olivo was nominated for a LA Weekly Theater Award in 2007 for playing “Marie” in this production. Carpio took over as Arachne instead of Olivo, who remained as an understudy. When Carpio was injured and had to leave the show for two weeks in March 2011, Olivo filled in. Aside from performing on stage, she quickly became busy outside of her musical career with Soluna, appearing as a guest star in a variety of television series such as House, General Hospital, The Brothers Garcia, How I Met Your Mother, Cuts, Blue Bloods, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, NCIS: Los Angeles, and NCIS: New Orleans.

Olivo finished the films The Last Resort and Love Shack in 2007. She appeared in the 2008 DVD release The Thirst: Blood War, starring alongside Tony Todd and Jason Connery, as well as the theatrical release Circle. In leading roles, Olivo’s 2009 theatrical releases include the action/comedy Bitch Slap and Michael Bay’s 2009 version of Friday the 13th. She completed the feature film Neighbor in February 2009.
