Alejandro Edda Snowfall

He appeared as Rubén on the FX series Snowfall. Rubén is a communist spy who communicates with Cissy and serves as the key enemy in Teddy’s tale during Season 5. Rubén, the protagonist, is tied to a mysterious organization that seeks to destroy Teddy McDonald while keeping the Saints safe. Born in Cuba to a Cuban mother and a Russian father, he moved with his father to the Soviet Union when his mother died.

Rubén has links in Cuba and collaborates with KGB spies, with his primary disguise as a plumber. He has asked Cissy to bug Franklin’s place of work, but she refuses to put her son under surveillance. His father was a KGB officer from Russia, which explains his link to the USSR. Rubén concealed his homosexuality and relationship with Edwin from the KGB, afraid it would harm his image.

He discovered that the DEA was employing Oso as a CI to catch Teddy and the CIA in the narcotics trade. Rubén captured Oso as a prisoner, but Oso fought back and knocked him down. He was later taken prisoner, along with Teddy, and detained at Franklin’s stash house. Rubén was handed to Stephen Havemeyer and the CIA in return for immunity when Teddy was murdered and Franklin was unable to reclaim his riches.
