Rosende is an actor and musician best known for his role as Simon Lewis in the Freeform supernatural drama Shadowhunters, which he played from 2016 to 2019. In 2019, he began starring in the NBC program Chicago Fire as Firefighter Candidate Blake Gallo. Rosende attended Fort Lauderdale Children’s Theater, where he was featured in several shows, including a lead role in Hairspray as Link Larkin. He went to St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale and was a member of the STA Players, where he played Danny Zuko in Grease, Emile De Becque in South Pacific, and Dr. Lyman Sanderson in Harvey. April of 2013. Rosende earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts in 2015.
