Adam worked as an investigative and political reporter for KEYE TV in Austin, Texas. For a piece on veterans’ health benefits, Adam won the regional Edward R. Murrow Award for hard news reporting in Texas in 2015. He also received an Emmy nomination for best general assignment/spot-news reporting. Adam covered the state’s death row, former Governor Rick Perry’s and Attorney General Ken Paxton’s indictments, the filibuster over women’s health care access, and the deadly crash at the South by Southwest festival while in Texas.
