She has starred in a variety of American productions, including television documentaries about Natalie Wood and the development of Dynasty (in which she played Catherine Oxenberg), as well as the horror films Man-thing and See No Evil. Her most notable performance to date was as Maggie, a signals analyst, in the 2007 film Transformers, with Megan Fox and Shia LaBeouf. Taylor revealed that she will not be returning for the sequel to Transformers. Taylor starred in the 2008 horror-thriller Shutter, a remake of the 2004 Thai film of the same name, opposite Joshua Jackson.  Despite receiving mixed reviews, the picture was a commercial success.
