Warhurst rose to prominence as a radio broadcaster at Triple J in 2000, when he appeared in short bi-weekly portions for Merrick and Rosso’s Drive program. In 2001, Warhurst began hosting the Saturday night Net 50 request show, and in 2003, she rose to fame as the host of the weekday Lunch shift and her daily piece The Trashy Lunchtime Quiz. In January 2007, she co-hosted The Breakfast Show with Jay and the Doctor as Myf, Jay, and the Doctor.
On October 10, 2007, it was reported that she would depart Triple J to co-host a new breakfast show with comic Peter Helliar and take over the Triple M Melbourne breakfast seat from The Cage, who left in November 2007. Warhurst wrote, “I’ve been lucky enough to experience many great things” after finishing Spicks and Specks.
