Career
Fox rose to prominence in 2013 by making jokes on Twitter under the name “Bootymath” and amassing tens of thousands of followers. The following year, he dropped his pseudonym and turned to music, joining the band Awful Records. In 2017, he drew the cover art for Thundercat’s album “Drunk”, and starred as an actor and writer in the 2017 horror comedy film “Kuso” directed by Flying Lotus, and thus became famous. In October 2018, Fox released his debut song “Square Up” with hip-hop producer Kenny Beats. In April 2019, Fosse appeared in Kenny Beats’ YouTube series The Cave, in which he invites different artists to join his studio. Kenny and Foxx recorded the song “Jesus Is the One (I’ve Got Trouble)” during the episode, which peaked at #1 on Spotify’s US Viral Chart on July 8, 2019. The duo never planned to release the song, but after. Following the success, they released the poster in June. His 2019 single “The Bean Kicked In” was released on FlyLo FM, a fictional radio station in Grand Theft Auto V hosted by producers Flying Lotus.
