The girls discover that the boy’s father had picked him up for his regular swimming lesson, and Natalie had forgotten to inform them. Kristy confides in Dawn that her father has abandoned her and has not spoken to her in over a year. Dawn is now an official BSC member, and her mother chastises Natalie for being irresponsible.
