Able’s acting career began in 2005 with a role in the low-budget film Age of Kali. After that, she plays Eve in the 2006 direct-to-DVD picture Dead Lenny. She was then cast in the pilot episode of the TV show Secrets of a Small Town, but the show was not picked up by American Broadcasting Company. She also appeared on the ABC sitcom Rodney. Able had her breakthrough in the 2006 horror picture All the Boys Love Mandy Lane, when she played the caustic but sympathetic cheerleader Chloe. Critics gave the film, which also starred Amber Heard, mediocre reviews. Able later starred in guest parts on television shows such as CSI: New York and Cold Case.
In addition, she appeared in the direct-to-DVD films Love and Mary and Remarkable Power. Able performed in a series of independent films before winning the lead role in Monsters, a low-budget sci-fi horror film released in 2010. The film received positive reviews from critics.[6] She appeared in Tales of an Ancient Empire the same year. She was placed #83 on Maxim magazine’s Hot 100 list in 2008. In 2015, she starred in Nick Basile’s independent feature-length thriller Dark. We Won’t Forget, a short film directed by Edgar Morais and Lucas Elliot Eberl and co-written by Able and both filmmakers, premiered in competition at the Palm Springs International ShortFest in 2021.
