She thought the arrangement might involve murder, but ultimately decided to pay off his debt and work it off. She runs away to an old-time mobster on parole named Constantine, who shoots Moretti. Constantine schemes to seize control of Moretti’s domain and appropriate her debt. Grace battles leading a double life as a mob employee and a family caregiver. She is mandated to care for two people: Traci Coolidge, a pregnant local alderwoman, and Dante Amato, a former competitor of Moretti’s who is wanted by the CPD for murder.
