Gonzalez began her career as an intern at Telemundo 51 during her final year at the university. After graduation, she started her TV career in 2005 and joined 7News as a weather producer. She liked her work, and she appreciated her job. Her channel producer liked her personality and her work.
As a weather generator in the middle of the most active hurricane season on record, thirty-one systems were developed that year, with Hurricane Wilma and Hurricane Katrina making a direct effect on South Florida. Her geography history has been incredibly useful in helping us track anything Mother Nature has thrown in our way.
Thanks to her hard work, she was easily promoted to Weather Anchor in 2007 for the Saturday Edition of “Today In Florida.” It’s her determination and enthusiasm to keep you aware of South Florida’s evolving weather conditions that make her a fantastic team member.
