Career
Favorito began his acting career in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1986, alongside comedians Joe Rogan, Nick Di Paolo, Jackie Flynn, Louis CK and David Cross. Favorito spent a decade in Boston, performing at the city’s biggest venues including Nick’s Comedy Stop, Comedy Connection, Stitches, and Play it Again Sam’s, and frequently touring with the likes of Drew Carey and Ray Romano. In 1990, “The Favorite” was named one of the ten best comics in Boston by the Boston Herald. After a decade in Boston, Favorito moved to Los Angeles, California, for five years, where he worked regularly at clubs such as The Comedy Store and The Improv. In 1998, he won the San Francisco International Comedy Competition and performed at the Montreal Comedy Festival, gaining Favorito fame in the industry. Favorito has toured and performed in theaters across the country. CBS immediately offered him two television contracts, but he turned them down. Later, he shot a movie called “Love and Family” for the “Fox Family”. When the pilot couldn’t get the call, he was invited to his own show in Las Vegas.
As an actor, Favorito specializes in festive baking, drawing comparisons to the great chefs of Dean Martin’s Celebrity Bake Off. Favorito criticized artists such as Tom Arnold, Magic Johnson, Pat O’Brien, Stan Winston, Jerry Springer, Larry Flynt and Larry King. Favorito brings the beauty of celebration to his show, where everyone in the audience is subject to their own brand of celebrity. From 2003 to 2004, Favorito headlined his first headline show, Binion Casino and Hotel. Favorito played at O’Shea’s Casino from 2004 to 2008.
