Career

He first started performing stand-up in 1982 while attending Conestoga High School in Philadelphia. He made his television debut on A&E’s “The Improv” in the 1980s and in several Comedy Central stand-up specials in the early 1990s. Glass is perhaps best known for his role as a contestant on the second and third seasons of NBC’s “The Last Stand” and for his recurring appearances on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” and “Late Night with Conan O’Brien” and “The Tough Crowd.” with Colin Quinn”, “The Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn” and other programs. and had his own Comedy Central special in 2001. Glass left the podcast in September 2009, announcing his departure on the November 28, 2009 episode.

Glass returned to guest star in several episodes. In 2001, Glass released his first stand-up comedy album, Vintage Todd Glass and Other Crap, recorded on the two-CD Comedy Dead-Ray, a collection of various stand-up routines performed on the popular comedy show compilation. The Thin Pig album was released on July 7, 2009 on Comedy Central Records. In August 2011, his podcast, The Todd Glass Show, debuted on the Nerdist Podcast Network.
