Tina Lifford Hostage
She appeared as Deputy Sheriff Laura Shoemaker in the 2005 American action thriller film Hostage. After a hostage crisis involving an abusive father who kills his wife, kid, and himself, former L.A. SWAT officer Jeff Talley becomes the police chief of Ventura County. A year later, he finds himself in another hostage crisis with Dennis Kelly and Kevin, as well as their collaborator Marshall “Mars” Krupcheck, who kidnap Walter Smith and his children. Talley is told to return to the hostage situation and hold off until the criminal syndicate can launch its own attack.
Dennis orders Kevin and Mars to restrain the youngsters, while Kevin knocks out Smith and discovers a significant sum of money. Talley agrees to give a helicopter in exchange for half of the money, but Mars refuses to go without Jennifer, who has developed feelings for him. Jennifer stabs Mars and locks herself and Tommy in a panic room after the syndicate sends phony FBI officers to seize the DVD. Talley breaks inside the house and is attacked by Mars, who kills the majority of the imposters. The lone surviving agent goes after Talley and the kids, demanding the encrypted DVD. In exchange for the family, Talley flees with the children and frees Smith, who pretends to despise Talley.
