Timothy Omundson is an actor from the United States whose supporting parts on the syndicated series Xena: Warrior Princess, on the musical series Galavant, in Psych, Sean Potter on the CBS television series Judging Amy, and Cain in Supernatural have made him well-known.

Omundson Family – Education
Omundson’s mother was a teacher and his father worked for the railroad; he was born in St. Joseph, Missouri. He began studying theater at the age of twelve at the Seattle Children’s Theater after his family relocated to Bellevue, Washington. Throughout his high school career, he worked as an intern at several theaters. He spent the summer of his junior year at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City, concentrating mostly on acting. He was the Washington State Debate Champion in Dramatic Interpretation for two years running.
When Omundson was thirteen years old, he traveled for a month through Germany and Austria with his father. He considers this to have been one of the most formative months of his life. In 1987, Omundson attended Bellevue, Washington’s Interlake High School and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater from the University of Southern California. He was awarded the James and Nony Doolittle Award for excellent excellence in acting as well as the USC Jack Nicholson Award.

Did Omundson have brain surgery? Stroke
Late in April 2017, he experienced a significant stroke. Among other things, the stroke was said to have affected his gait, which he had to regain. He had a craniectomy, it’s where they took off half his skull so his brain could swell. He was in that ICU for weeks before he was eventually flown out to California,
where he began his rehab in a hospital there in Los Angeles. While he completed his recuperation, Omundson was able to play Carlton Lassiter again, appearing in Psych: The Movie in a tiny role and in Psych 2: Lassie Come Home and Psych 3: This Is Gus in larger parts. In addition, he started playing Gregory, a recovered stroke patient, in a recurring role on This Is Us.
Omundson Galavant
On the ABC series Galavant, Omundson plays King Richard. In five episodes of the ABC short sitcom Galavant, King Richard serves as both a major character and the main adversary. He made his debut in the “Pilot” episode of Season 1. Young Richard, the king, was overweight as a result of his parents’ control over him and was a spoilt youngster. He was crowned King upon his father’s passing, but he was made to feel inferior when his brother, Kingsley, accepted the sword in his place. Richard carried this impact into adulthood, focusing on tax increases and upsetting the impoverished. He abducted Madalena with the intention of marrying her, but he fell in love with her. But the marriage was unhappy, and Richard and his partner’s connection grew more tense. He attacked Valencia to get a valuable jewel in order to win Madalena over.
After growing tired of Galavant, Richard made the decision to murder him by using Princess Isabella as a pawn to trick him into falling into a trap. King Richard was infamous for his harsh reign, naive demeanor, and dependence on others for his necessities. Because of his early insecurities, he stole his bride and forced her to marry him. His immature demeanor did not change as Madalena continued to reject him. With time, Richard matured and realized he didn’t require other people to do tasks for him. Though he never succeeded in his duel, he even declared himself the first king to take on the role of fighter. Richard’s incapacity to perform his job was the cause of his sensitive nature and frequent outbursts of fury, despair, or delight.
Omundson Psych
On the popular USA Network original series Psych, Omundson played Head Detective Carlton Lassiter. Carlton Jebediah Lassiter, better known by his stage name Lassie, was born on April 11, 1968, and is the head detective of the Santa Barbara Police Department. In “No Trout About It,” he was reduced to a regular police officer; however, as of “Cog Blocked,” he was granted back his detective status, and as of right now, he serves as the Chief of Police. He is Lauren Lassiter’s elder brother, Lily Lassiter’s father, and Marlowe Lassiter’s spouse. The actor Timothy Omundson plays him. In Psych 2: Lassie Come Home, Nicholas Holmes portrays a young Lassiter during a flashback.
Carlton is a diligent worker who uses his nasty disposition and low self-esteem as self-defense. He is shown the best aspects of Lassie by his close buddies Lassiter and Lassie. Lassie is sensitive and gentle, sometimes sympathetic and insecure, despite his surly exterior. He is well-known for his interests and peculiar sense of humor. Conversely, Lassiter is conceited and thinks he is more respected than he actually is. Carlton has a high pain threshold and dreams of Clint Eastwood. He speaks to Marlowe in terms of the federal government because he respects the US government.
