Webster began working as a fill-in reporter and sports presenter for radio station 2UE in June 2008. He took over for Steve Price, who had moved into John Laws’ former timeslot. Webster had an afternoon show on Sydney’s 2UE from 1 pm to 4 pm Monday through Friday until joining Macquarie Sports Radio as a weekend host in 2018. Webster takes over mornings on Sydney’s 2CH from Bob Rogers in February 2019. He shifted to breakfast in January 2020.

Webster continued as the sole anchor of the Perth bulletin until May 5, 2008, when he was replaced by Narelda Jacobs ahead of the bulletin’s relocation back to Perth. Dragun died in late 2007. Later that very month, he ventured down as the Sydney announcement’s games moderator on 30 May 2008, resigning from Organization 10 following 27 years.

In mid 2011, Webster introduced sport close by Sandra Contaminate on Sydney’s fleeting Ten Nightly Information. Webster was a fill-in presenter for Ten News at Five and other national bulletins after that bulletin was discontinued on April 4, 2011, and replaced by 6.30 with George Negus (which moved from its original 6:00 pm timeslot).
