The defense attempted to portray Don as the murderer and Kathy’s rape as a “affair” throughout the trial. However, it was found that Garson was tormenting Don in messages in order to make him too broken to defend himself at trial. Garson’s punishment was assured, and he was imprisoned as a result. Don was left to grieve the loss of his family.

Peter, a federal agent in the FBI’s White Collar Crime Unit, is well-known for his tenacity and dedication. He takes a tough approach to law enforcement and upholds strong moral and ethical standards. Peter fell in love with Elizabeth while investigating a heist at her gallery. Peter ultimately married her after being under observation, and they have been married for ten years. While undercover, Peter’s lack of courting abilities puts him in danger, but Elizabeth assists him with flirting.
Peter arrested white-collar criminal Neal Caffrey after years of meticulous research and the help of his wife. He has arrested Caffrey three times, the second time after Neal escaped from a maximum-security jail. The agreement granted Neal some freedom in exchange for wearing a tracking anklet and assisting the FBI in catching other white-collar crooks.
