Andrews joined ESPN in 2003 as the national correspondent for Cold Pizza, the flagship morning show on ESPN2. She provided unique lifestyle features and live reports from sports and non-sports events. Jay Crawford and Kit Hoover hosted the show at first, but Andrews later took over as co-host. She co-hosted the morning shows Breakfast at Churchill Downs and Breakfast at Pimlico, which covered the Kentucky Oaks, Kentucky Derby, and Preakness Stakes, on ESPN2 from 2004 to 2006. She also reported as a reporter for the Breeders Cup Simulcast Show in 2004 and 2005 and covered other significant horse racing events.
