Tess Harper is an actress from the United States well-known for her parts in the films Crimes of the Heart and Tender Mercies. Breaking Bad
In El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie and Breaking Bad, she plays Diane Pinkman. Jesse and Jake Pinkman’s mother is Diane Pinkman, who is married to Adam Pinkman. She is adamantly against Jesse using illegal drugs. She lets Jesse stay after he crashes into their backyard as long as he stays sober and attends meetings, but she still fears that he could have a negative impact on their younger son, Jake. When Mr. and Mrs. Pinkman discover marijuana in the house, they mistake it for being Jake’s (which it isn’t) and throw Jesse out (“Cancer Man”).
Hank Schrader pays Diane a visit while looking for Jesse in connection with Walter White’s disappearance. She says that she doesn’t like Jesse’s way of life once more. Hank accurately surmises that Jesse’s ’89 Monte Carlo has LoJack since all she discloses is that it’s a lowrider. She enters Jesse’s house suspicious of Hank’s presence and discovers the makeshift meth lab that Jesse and Walt had set up in the basement. Mr. and Mrs. Pinkman evict their son since they are the real owners of the house and may be held accountable for any crimes done there.
Mr. and Mrs. Pinkman renovate the house for a sale, spending close to $400,000. Because they tried to sell it without revealing that there was a meth lab in the basement, Jesse is able to purchase it from them covertly through Saul Goodman for less than half the asking price. When his mother asks where Jesse is going, he responds quietly and triumphantly, “Inside.” The property is mine.” Diane disappears from view for the remainder of the show, suggesting that she has severed all ties with her son.
Flashpoint
Tess appeared as Ellen in the 1984 American neo-western action thriller film Flashpoint.In the Texas desert, Border Patrol officers Bobby Logan and Ernie Wyatt find a decades-old Jeep buried. They discover a hunting case with a scoped sniper rifle inside, an intact skeleton, $800,000 in unused banknotes, and a piece of paper with two phone numbers on it. Logan surmises that the funds may have come from a bank heist in the early 1960s, and Wyatt consents to provide the Sheriff’s office the jeep’s license plate information.
When they get back to the station, they find that federal agents—led by the self-described “fixer” Carson—have come to take over a planned surveillance operation and potential drug trafficking bust. Logan is not fond of Carson because Carson appears to be well-aware of Logan’s time spent in the U.S. Army. As Logan and Wyatt close in to apprehend a narcotics smuggler, Carson seems to reveal their cover, nearly murdering Wyatt.
When a local prospector finds the Jeep burial and site, Carson and the US Army are notified. Logan understands that Carson is trying to get rid of everyone who knows about the jeep and that the mission is a setup. Logan attempts to get revenge by going to the spot where he and Wyatt had concealed the cash and rifle, but Carson shoots him in the shoulder and his men kill him. When Sheriff Wells confronts Logan, he reveals that Michael J. Curtis was actually the real assassin and had participated in a federal plot to kill John F. Kennedy.
