Following her stint as a Laker Girl, Paige has appeared in commercials and advertising campaigns for Transamerica, Best Buy, McDonald’s, Adidas, and Just Dance 3. Her first film role was as a featured dancer in High School Musical 3: Senior Year (2008). Paige starred as Ahsha Hayes in the sports drama television series Hit the Floor (2013-2018) after appearing in several short films. After three seasons, she left the show in 2016. Paige starred as the title character in Stella Meghie’s directorial debut, Jean of the Joneses, in 2016. The film received favorable reviews. In the crime drama film White Boy Rick (2018), she played Cathy Volsan-Curry.
Paige made her breakthrough in the black comedy crime film Zola (2020) as the titular character. Paige received the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead for the film and her performance. Paige was cast as the female lead opposite Peter Dinklage and Jacob Tremblay in Legendary Entertainment’s upcoming superhero film The Toxic Avenger in May 2021. Deadline Hollywood reported on August 23 that she had signed another deal with Legendary to star in the upcoming comedy film Brothers. Paige has signed on to star in the upcoming dark comedy film The Trainer with Vito Schnabel in March 2022. She joined the cast of the upcoming action comedy Beverly Hills Cop: Axel Foley in September, alongside Eddie Murphy and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
