Tamar Braxton is a singer and television personality from the United States. She began her career as a founding member of The Braxtons, and R&B singing group formed with her sisters, in 1990. The Braxtons formed as a trio in 1996 and released their debut album, So Many Ways, shortly thereafter. DreamWorks Records released her debut self-titled album in 2000.
