She is a Supe from Detroit, Michigan, and she is renowned for having the world’s greatest intelligence. Homelander approached her about joining The Seven.Given that her family may not be close to her because of the agreement they made with Vought before she was born, it would seem that Sage doesn’t have any family photos in her apartment. Sage suggests that she loved and cared for her late grandmother despite this.
Her grandmother was diagnosed with stage 3 leukemia at the age of eleven, and there was no treatment. Unconcerned about rescuing “some old ex-Black Panther,” the physicians informed her parents that nothing could be done. She spent three nights trying to find a solution. The young Sage then gave the doctors a presentation of her studies. But they laughed at her and ignored her work, calling her cute and giving her a pat on the head. Her grandmother suffered a terrible death as a result. She became hostile toward people as a result of this encounter.
