Berry The Wilds

In The Wilds on Amazon Prime Video, she plays Dot Campbell. A prominent figure in both The Wilds’ first and second seasons is Dorothy Jane Campbell. She is a fierce Texan woman who doesn’t put up with idiots. She has an air of reliability on the island because she has had to deal with a lot of adult obligations in her early life. Her extensive viewing of survival films and television shows makes her a valuable asset on the island. When it comes to getting things done, the other girls go to her first.

Dot’s upbringing has greatly influenced her ability to be strong, grounded, trustworthy, and realistic. We learn from flashbacks that her father has a fatal illness, and she and Matteo assume the enormous burden of taking care of him. Because of this, Dot is the caretaker, the common man, and rather down to earth. She has learned how to survive by watching a lot of survival shows.

She is quite meticulous about applying this right away and taking care of the necessary tasks, but at first some of the girls did not take her seriously because they thought they would be saved in a week. Dot appears to know a little bit about medicine, probably from her experience with her dad’s illness, and she even combs through everything that washes up onshore to compile an inventory of their supplies.

Interestingly, she is the only person on the island who tried to revive a classmate who had drowned despite being the “survivalist” of the group. However, she is unable to perform chest compressions on the female victim without breathing on her.

Due of her lack of social life before to the catastrophe, Dot can come across as extremely unsettling to the girls. She notes that she just didn’t have time for a social life because she was selling drugs and helping her father, which contributes to her slightly antisocial behavior.
