Biography
Sarah Michelle Gellar is an American actress. After being discovered by a talent agency as a kid, she made her cinematic debut at the age of six in the television film An Invasion of Privacy. After starring in the short-lived teen drama series Swans Crossing, she made her breakthrough as Kendall Hart on the ABC serial opera All My Children, for which she received a Daytime Emmy Award.

Family – Education
She is the only child of nursery school teacher Rosellen (née Greenfield) and textile worker Arthur Gellar. Both of her parents are Jewish. Her parents split when she was seven years old in 1984, and she was reared on Manhattan’s Upper East Side by her mother. She lost contact with her father as she grew up, and the two remained estranged until his death in 2001.
Gellar earned a partial scholarship to study at Columbia Grammar & Preparatory School, where she was bullied, because her single mother worked “just above the poverty line”. She temporarily attended the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music, Art, and Performing Arts before dropping out owing to acting engagements. Gellar graduated from Professional Children’s School in 1994 as a “straight A” student with a 4.0 grade point average.

Gellar met her future husband, Freddie Prinze Jr., while filming the 1997 adolescent horror thriller I Know What You Did Last Summer, although the couple did not start dating until 2000.

She appeared as Sydney Roberts, Simon’s daughter is also a business partner and director at the ad agency in the American television sitcom The Crazy Ones. Her character frequently played the “straight woman” to Simon’s ambitions; raised by her mother after Simon’s divorce, she does not blame him for being more concerned with his business than his family. Regardless, Sydney frequently exploits her childhood experiences to justify her commercial judgments. She has romantic feelings for her best friend, Andrew, but she does not date him since she values their friendship more and is afraid about the ramifications of a breakup.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer
She appeared as Buffy Summers in the American supernatural drama television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Buffy Anne Summers, a late twentieth-century Slayer, was activated in 1996. Born in Los Angeles, she relocated to Sunnydale with her mother following an incident with a vampire gang at Hemery High School. She guarded the Hellmouth for seven years till the town was destroyed in mid-2003.
Buffy was a reluctant hero who wanted nothing more than a normal life but gradually accepted her fate. She was uncommon as a Slayer in that she refused to give up her everyday life for her supernatural destiny and frequently worked with her Scooby Gang companions. She was one of the longest-lived Slayers, having returned from the dead twice and coexisted with the two subsequent Slayers, upsetting the magic around the conventional line.
During the war with the First Evil, Buffy devised a scheme to activate many Potential Slayers, effectively eliminating the traditional line of Chosen Ones and shutting the Hellmouth. She dedicated herself to acquiring and training an ever-increasing number of Slayers for the Slayer Organization. After rejecting her prophesied place in the Twilight dimension, she returned magic to Earth, accepted responsibility for its new rules, led a new Magic Council, and exposed a government scheme to prosecute supernatural beings.
