Nina Myers was a prominent federal agent and the second-in-command of the CTU Los Angeles until she was discovered to be a compromised, deep-cover information broker at the end of Day 1. She secretly sold official material to a number of buyers. She was trilingual, speaking English, Serbian, German, and Arabic.
The Drazens put her to work on Day 1 and later revealed her as a mole and traitor. While attempting to keep her cover and flee, she killed numerous others, including Jamey Farrell and Teri Bauer. However, she was apprehended and arrested at the end of the day.
She remained in detention on Day 2 but was awarded a presidential pardon for disclosing the whereabouts of her contact Mamud Rasheed Faheen. Nina later learned the location of Syed Ali while questioning Faheen. She was granted immunity in advance for the murder of Jack Bauer and the location of Ali; however, after disclosing his position, she was injured and caught before she could kill him. President Palmer chose to honor the original deal, and she was later freed to exiled immunity in North Africa.
CTU apprehended her on Day 3 as she attempted to purchase the Cordilla virus on behalf of an undisclosed client. Chloe O’Brian foiled Nina’s scheme despite tricking Jack into activating a secret worm in CTU’s computers. She later tried to flee, but Kim caught up with her, and Jack eventually shot her. When she was wounded, Jack stood over her, pushed Kim out of the room, and determined she didn’t have any information that could aid them—so he finally took his revenge and fatally shot her.
