Durrah has worked in corporate marketing, travel agencies, and banking before focusing solely on comedy in 2009. Durrah made his debut on stage at New York’s Big Brown Comedy Hour in October 2009. He then began his career in Manhattan, New York, at Comic Strip Live. During his first year of comedy, he performed at the Town Hall Theatre on Broadway. Durrah has performed stand-up comedy in a variety of locations throughout the United States. In October and November 2010, he joined other Muslim comedians on the “Arabs Gone Wild” tour. Durrah performed at Gotham Comedy Club for the New York Arab American Comedy Festival in 2011 and 2012. Durrah will travel with his play “Arab Is Me” in February of 2013. Durrah also produces comedic shows. Durrah’s comic career is influenced by his parents’ Arab heritage.
