Ryan began performing in clubs in Salt Lake City, Utah. He also lived and performed in Seattle and frequently performed in Boston; he considers them all “comedy houses”. He has participated in many festivals and competitions, including winning the 2005 Sierra Mist “America’s Next Great Comic” award and participating in national tours. It won the Great American Comedy Festival in 2011. He performed regularly at Just for Laughs comedy festivals, including Montreal and Sydney, and was a two-time Last Comic Standing semi-finalist. He has also performed stand-up comedy on “Conan,” “Comedy Central” and “Showtime.” He recently opened for Jerry Seinfeld’s 2019 live tour.
