Noah befriends Claire’s adolescent son Kevin, with whom he had passionate intercourse. Claire confronts Noah about their affair later, prompting him to hit a wall in frustration.
Noah sneaks into Claire’s computer once the school year begins, brainwashing Kevin into despising his father. Kevin overexerts himself and slips into shock, which Noah saves by injecting him with his EpiPen. Claire confronts Noah about his crush on her and flashbacks of them having sex.
Noah is expelled from his previous school after a violent assault and is forced to avoid Claire and Kevin. Claire successfully deletes the sex tape and discovers naked images of herself as well as instructions for messing with Garrett’s and Kevin’s cars.
Noah murders Garrett and Kevin in a barn, claiming that doing so will allow him and Claire to begin a new life together. Claire slashes Noah’s delusions with Kevin’s EpiPen in the eye. Claire and Kevin help Garrett flee the flaming barn, as police and paramedics arrive.
