Kelly got his start as a songwriter. He signed a deal with ‘BMG Nashville’ in 2013, which gave him the opportunity to write a song for popular American country singer-songwriter Tim McGraw. Tim McGraw’s album ‘Two Lanes of Freedom’ featured his song ‘Nashville Without You.’ Kelly then began playing guitar in a band called ‘Elmwood,’ before concentrating on his songwriting career, working with singers such as Hayes Carll and Josh Abbott. In 2016, he collaborated with the famous entertainment company ‘Razor & Tie,’ which released the EP under its record label ‘Washington Square Records,’ to release his debut extended play (EP), ‘Halloween.’ The EP included ten songs, including popular songs like ‘Hurricane In My Head,’ ‘How To Preserve The Life Of Death,’ and ‘How To Preserve The Life Of Death.’
