The season premiered on April 17, 2019, and concluded on June 26, 2019. Life partners Colin Guinn and Christie Woods, who had competed on The Amazing Race 5, won the season. Rupert Boneham Heroes vs. Villains
Boneham returned to Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains as a member of the Heroes tribe, which also included J. T. Thomas, Amanda Kimmel, Cirie Fields, James Clement, and Candice Woodcock. Stephenie Lagrossa and Tom Westman were successfully eliminated by the alliance, but Fields was surprised on Day 11 and Clement was voted out on Day 15.
The Heroes were reduced to five members after Clement’s elimination, but they won the final three immunity challenges. The Heroes voted against Villains member Jerri Manthey, while the Villains voted against Thomas, but Parvati Shallow used one of her hidden immunity idols on Diaz-Twine and another (originally Thomas’ immunity idol) on Manthey, blindsiding Thomas and putting the Heroes in the minority.
At the next Tribal Council, Woodcock switched to the Villains alliance, and Kimmel was voted out. Boneham was spared at the Final Seven Tribal Council because Hantz and Manthey supported him in his efforts to get rid of Danielle DiLorenzo. Boneham and Colby Donaldson voted for Diaz-Twine at the Final Tribal Council, but she used her hidden immunity idol to override their votes. Boneham was eliminated from the game after the four villains voted for him. Boneham narrowly lost the fan favorite award at the reunion show to Hantz.
