He is an actor, producer, and writer for “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart,” which he joined in 1999 and has served since October 2013. He is the executive producer and executive producer of “The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore.” In the summer of 2006, he joined Lewis Black’s Red, White, and Screw Tour, performing nationally with Black. Albanese has performed with former “Daily Show” correspondents John Oliver and Wyatt Cenac. He hosts his own shows at clubs and universities nationwide. In 2019, he became the producer of the ABC talk show “Strahan, Sara & Keke.” He is the voice of “American” on the podcast The Bugle. Albanese’s first half-hour comedy special premiered on Comedy Central on April 2, 2010.
