Ron Livingston is an American actor best recognized for his roles in Office Space and Captain Lewis Nixon III in the miniseries Band of Brothers. Livingston’s previous film roles include Swingers, Adaptation, The Conjuring, James White, and Tully, as well as the television series Loudermilk and Boardwalk Empire.

Family – Education
Livingston was born to aerospace/electronics engineer Kurt Livingston and Lutheran pastor Linda (née Rinas). He has two brothers and a sister. His younger brother, John, is also an actor, and his sister, Jennifer Livingston, and brother-in-law, Mike Thompson, were television news anchors at WKBT-DT in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Livingston attended Yale University, where he sang with The Whiffenpoofs and graduated in 1989, alongside Anderson Cooper.

Livingston and his Standoff co-star Rosemarie DeWitt started a romance after meeting on the show. After three years of dating, they married on November 2, 2009, in San Francisco. He was once engaged to actress Lisa Sheridan. In May 2013, Livingston and DeWitt revealed that they had adopted a baby daughter born the previous month. In December 2016, the couple announced that they had adopted another child, a girl born the previous year.

Boardwalk Empire

Leander Cephas Whitlock hires Phillips to find out the truth about Gillian so that she can be jailed. The character first appears in the fourth season premiere “New York Sour”.
Phillips is posing as a high-level executive with the Piggly Wiggly food market chain, attempting to expand the organization. Phillips is actually employed by Leander Cephas Whitlock and works for the Pinkerton Detective Agency. Phillips pays a visit to Gillian Darmody’s residence in Atlantic City with the intention of purchasing property. He decides it is too huge for him, but begs her to help him get acquainted with the city. ( “New York Sour” ) He appears to fall for Gillian, and she begins to change her ways. Roy assists Gillian in overcoming her heroin addiction. Even though he is paid to bring her down, he appears to really admire Gillian.
Pantheon
He portrays Peter Waxman, the Head of Research for Logorhythms in the AMC+ animated drama, Pantheon. Dr. Peter Waxman is a main character in the AMC+ animated drama, Pantheon. Ellen, a UI hacker, seeks Waxman’s assistance as a war looms. Waxman downloads a tracking program and meets Admiral Kurts and Stephen Gold of the National Security Agency (NSA), who are working on uploaded intelligence. Pope asks Waxman to assist in tracking down Caspian, a Stephen Holstrom clone, and brings him to David’s server.
David refuses to speak with Waxman, and they fight Chinese UIs attempting to hack Logorhythms. Waxman lies about spikes being a system balancer and instructs them to disregard them as long as they persist. The NSA recruits Waxman to upload Joey Coupet, and Ellen watches him while watching news coverage of the UI demonstrations. Ellen discusses her knowledge of uploads and who at Logorhythms knows about them. Waxman is transported to Norway and spends months attempting to help Caspian Keyes, a Stephen Holstrom clone, remedy the fault.
Loudermilk
She appeared as Sam Loudermilk in the American comedy-drama television series Loudermilk. Sam Loudermilk, a former music critic and recovering alcoholic, is a substance abuse support group leader in Seattle who frequently delivers intelligent but acid-tongued critiques to his clients, acquaintances, and anybody else he meets. Loudermilk, who does not have his life in order as one might expect of a counselor, is somewhat gentler to the few individuals closest to him, including his best friend and (usually) sober sponsor, Ben Burns, and his sponsee and unplanned roommate, Claire Wilkes.
