Miller and her co-host Jann Carl, a former TV reporter and weekend anchor for Entertainment Tonight, travel the country telling inspiring stories about American communities and people. Small Town Big Deal premiered on the RFD-TV cable network on September 6, 2012. Small Town Big Deal has since gone national in broadcast syndication, airing on over 150 local stations (80 percent of the US) each week. In the fall of 2017, it also debuted on the Armed Forces Network.

Miller previously worked in agricultural machinery as the CEO of Montana Tractors in Springdale, Arkansas, and McCormick International, USA in Duluth, Georgia. He is a businessman, farmer, and entrepreneur who also owns and operates the Buford Corn Maze in the Atlanta area. Miller has stated that “the maze is a symbol of my life in many ways.” I did not take the easy route, and I had many failures, but I never gave up pursuing my dream.” Every year, the maze is open from early September to late November. Miller supports and serves on the board of the Georgia AgriTourism Association.
