Robert has worked for KVEO-TV in the Rio Grande Valley for over a decade as the chief meteorologist, and previously for KDBC-TV and KVIA-TV in El Paso. Robert worked for the National Weather Service in Corpus Christi during the summer of 1994. During Hurricane Alex (summer 2010) and Tropical Storm Don (summer 2011), Robert commanded special weather teams, and during Hurricane Isaac, he submitted live reports from the streets of New Orleans (summer 2012). In the case of a major weather disaster, Robert is dedicated to keeping Sun City safe.
Robert is one of the only certified meteorologists with a theatrical arts minor. Robert has received the Seal of Approval from both the American Meteorological Society and the National Weather Association. Robert hosts and produces The Open House Show, a syndicated real estate and entertainment home show that airs every Sunday morning at 8 a.m. on KTSM.
