In order to advance his career, he has dated the daughters of powerful officials.
He frequently butts heads with Amy, whom he once dated (and it is indicated that he still has affections for her). He briefly serves as Selina’s campaign manager for her presidential candidacy, but is sacked after experiencing a nervous breakdown following multiple difficulties. He returns to his job in Communications, but is fired as a scapegoat in the midst of a data theft crisis. After unsuccessful stints as a lobbyist and a CNN analyst, he rejoins the campaign crew as a senior figure. Dan becomes a lead host on CBS This Morning after Selina’s reelection bid falls short. In Season 7, he joins Selina’s new reelection bid.

He takes very few things seriously, except his mission to defeat Kane, and easily keeps his crew prepared for whatever Kane throws at them. He used to be Kane’s cadet, but Kane’s ruthless demeanor prompted him to quit and battle him as a Motorcity rebel.
This drama takes place in a mythical futuristic Detroit, an elevated metropolis erected atop the old Detroit known as Detroit Deluxe. It is owned by the villainous billionaire Abraham Kane. Kane has one more obstacle: a bunch of hot-rod wielding rebels known as the Burners. The Burners, led by Kane’s former cadet Mike Chilton, rise to prevent Kane from seizing Detroit’s final bastion of freedom, an underground shelter known as Motorcity.

In season 2, Johnny loses his DJ job after the station is purchased by corporate interests. He frequently wears a band t-shirt. As of season 3, he is the manager of John’s Club, which he founded with John, Bobby’s friend whom he met during Bobby’s bachelor celebration. As of season 4, he has moved out on his own, no longer living with P.J., and in the season 4 finale, he owns Crowley’s Bar after purchasing it to keep it open.
PJ Franklin, a professional sportswriter, seeks love in an environment dominated by her male friends. Her unorthodox tastes and family expectations may impede her dating life. Her tomboyish demeanor intimidates potential suitors, prompting her to dress and behave more femininely. Being “one of the guys” can entail engaging in activities like as poker, softball, and sports, but it can be difficult for PJ. The show’s first season included characters visiting match.com, a sponsor that is regularly mentioned in conversation.
