She eventually decided to try her hand at acting and received her first lessons in Los Angeles from someone she refers to as the “go-to sitcom comedy teacher”. Gupta had a recurring role in the second season of the Hulu series Future Man. She is going to play a guest part on the Netflix series Unbelievable. Her acting credits include the MTV film “Worst. Prom. Ever.” and the FX comedy Better Things.
