Preacher Moss is an American stand-up comedian and writer. Moss is known for his films Love Supreme: An Anatomy of Gratitude (2018), American Sharia (2017), and Allah Made Me Funny: Live in Concert (2008). He is most known for being one-third of the comic group Allah Made Me Funny.

Preacher Career
He began acting at age seven, when he earned the nickname “Teacher” for imitating his family’s church pastor. He was raised a Christian in suburban Maryland and was sent to a local military academy for training. Moss began writing cartoons at age 17 and participating in theater at age 20. He converted to Islam in 1988 at age 20. He graduated from Marquette University with a degree in journalism and found work teaching children about anxiety while performing stand-up comedy in Milwaukee. In 1994, Moss opened for singer Darrell Hammond, who hired her as a writer. Moss moved to Los Angeles to develop her acting skills. There, she continued to give private lessons and worked as a writer for actors such as Damon Wayans and George Lopez.
Moss continues to perform in major theaters. Moss wrote her own play, The End of Racism. Beginning in 2000, he toured hundreds of colleges and high schools across the country, performing, teaching, and discussing issues such as poverty, racism, diversity, civil rights, and issues where the nation’s opinion mattered. He had been performing the “End Racism” demonstration for four years when he came up with the idea of another good demonstration that could address other forms of racism that were spreading rapidly among non-Muslim communities in post-9/11 America. In May 2004, Moss and fellow Muslim comedians Azhar Usman and Azeem Muhammad (later replaced by Muhammad Amer in 2006) launched a comedy tour called “Allah Makes Me Funny”. in his first year.
